DR. DOUGLAS ALLEN
Economics
I study the economics of organizations and institutions, and have taught for over forty years at various universities.
God and Reason has been life changing for me. It has fostered closer relationships with students, and has changed many lives, including my own.
Dr. Allen is known for his research on transaction costs and property rights, and how these influence the structure of organizations and institutions. His research covers four broad areas: transaction cost theory, economic history, agricultural organizations, and the family.
He was one of the founding members of God & Reason at SFU in 2011.
