International Politics is what has captivated me for over 35 years. In this world we find power but also principle. What is the relationship between these two?

There frankly is no better, no more reasoned and experienced answer to this question than which is revealed in the Bible.

Seven years ago, I started a new field program based on student experience and engagement with the international world of security and defence.

Both God and Reason and this field program help me see the individual student as that one soul that matters most.

Dr. Moens teaches foreign policy and the political and security relations between Europe and North America. He is the author of The Foreign Policy of George W. Bush: Values, Strategy, Loyalty (Aldershot, Hampshire: Ashgate Publishing, November 2004) as well as Foreign Policy Under Carter (Boulder: Westview Press, 1990). He was a co-founder of God & Reason at SFU.
